Creating these gates, I was attempting to depict a beauty of an old Ukrainian village of 18-19th centuries. There are historical houses, churches, windmills, wattle fences, forests and roads, plants and trees - symbols of Ukraine, rushnyk (Ukrainian embroidered towel), the sun, clouds, rain and rainbow... I created those gates with the utmost attention to detail.
